Off/Page Project seeks youth poetry on Ferguson, Missouri, shooting

We watch acts of peaceget chopped into pieces by axesand we act as if the worldspins on an axis of silence, our peaceful protest turn to violence. They censor our peace, put sensors by our feetthey prepare for war, they wanna rip us aparttake part in our destructionspilled blood becomes an art, their canvas will be the STL arch. Police cars parked inside of parkswaiting for the child to become too old to slideand decide to reside at the age of 18then he becomes victim of the Utopian liesthen we cryway before the tear gas.--Unique Hughley
